Easy Chicken Kabab with Salad

There are days when you want something tasty but don’t feel like spending hours in the kitchen. That’s when these Easy Chicken Kabab with Salad come to the rescue. Serves: 2 – 3
Ingredients For the Chicken Kabab
- Chicken Mince (Kheema) – 200 gm
- Baking Powder – ⅛ tsp
- Ginger-Garlic Paste – 1 tsp
- Lemon Juice – 1 tsp
- Onion – 1 small, finely chopped
- Red Chilli Powder – ½ tsp
- Coriander Powder – ½ tsp
- Cumin Powder – ½ tsp
- Chaat Masala – ½ tsp
- Garam Masala – ¼ tsp
- Crushed Black Pepper – ¼ tsp
- Roasted Gram Flour (besan) – 2 tbsp
- Fresh Coriander Leaves – 2 tbsp, chopped
- Salt – to taste
- Oil – 1 tsp (plus for shallow frying)
For the Salad with Kabab
- Onion – 1, sliced
- Red Capsicum – ¼ sliced
- Green Chillies – 2 sliced
- Butter – 1 tsp
- Chaat Masala – ½ tsp
- Garam Masala – ¼ tsp
- Cumin Powder – ¼ tsp
- Black Pepper Powder – 1/8 tsp
- Lemon Juice – 1 tsp
- Salt – to taste
- Fresh Coriander Leaves – 2 tsp, chopped
Method

1.Prepare the Chicken Mixture
- Wash the chicken kheema and place it in a strainer to remove excess water.
- In a mixing bowl, combine kheema with all the listed kabab ingredients. Mix well. (You may also blend it in a food processor for a smoother texture.)
2. Shape and Cook The Kabab
- Heat 2 tbsp oil in a flat pan.
- Take small portions of the mixture, roll into balls, and flatten them into round kababs.
- Place on the hot pan and cook on both sides until golden brown and fully done.
3. Prepare The Salad
- On one side of the pan, melt butter. Add onion, capsicum, and green chillies.
- Sauté lightly for a minute, then season with salt, chaat masala, garam masala, cumin powder, black pepper, and lemon juice.
- Toss well and sauté for 2 minutes until crisp-tender.
4. Serve
Mix the salad with kababs, sprinkle fresh coriander, and serve hot.
